Chinese Research Academy of Environmental Sciences (CRAES), Zhongshan Municipal People’s Government and Hong Kong Sunwah Group held a symposium at Beijing on September 25.

Choi Koon-shum, Standing Committee Member of National Committee of CPPCC, Chairman of Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area Entrepreneurs Union and Chairman of Sunwah Group, Li Haisheng, CRAES Director, Liang Lixian, Standing Committee Member of Zhongshan municipal Party committee and Director of Zhongshan United Front Work Department, and Yuan Yongkang, Deputy Mayor of Zhongshan, attended the symposium.

On behalf of Zhongshan Municipal People’s Government, Yuan Yongkang signed strategic cooperation framework agreement with CRAES and Sunwah Group.

According to the agreement, CRAES, Zhongshan Municipal People’s Government and Sunwah Group will co-build the Greater Bay Area Environmental Protection Joint Innovation Center in Zhongshan, in order to promote joint cooperation between national ecological environment research team and scientific research institutions, colleges and universities and enterprises in Guangdong, Hong Kong and Macao.
