FSM (Federated States of Micronesia) delegation led by Vice President Yosiwo P. George visited Zhongshan days before. Zhongshan Municipal Deputy Party Secretary Chen Wenfeng and Deputy Mayor Lei Yuelong met with the delegation.

During the meeting, Chen Wenfeng introduced Zhongshan’s economic and social development achievements in the past few years to the guests.

Reportedly, Zhongshan has developed effective cooperation and communication with FSM in multiple aspects. So far, Zhongshan has established International Sister City relationship with Rull city of Yap State, FSM, and International Sister City-to-be relationship with Sokehs city of Pohnpei State.

Zhongshan has also sent medical teams to FSM for improving local health care services.
