Three public toilets respectively situated in Xishan Temple, Xiongzhong Park and Huabo Market in central city have finished renovation days before, which marked new progress of the city’s “toilet revolution” three-year action plan, according to Zhongshan Sanitation Administration (ZSSA).
Cao Zhanfeng, director of technology department of ZSSA, says “toilet revolution” will focus on improving technologies used in toilets, which refers to build environmental, water-saving and energy-saving public toilets with low-cost, low-power, easy-maintainable and efficient treatment technologies.
Reportedly, in three years’ time Zhongshan is planning to build, renovate and open 109 toilets, including 56 newly-built or renovated and 53 newly-opened.
