The 2018 Income Benchmarks for Part of the Jobs in Zhongshan was announced recently.

The report analyzes about 147,000 employees of 587 enterprises in 18 industries in terms of salary of last year. The “high-level income” reflects the wage level of enterprises of good economic effectiveness.

The report shows that “owners of enterprise”, “functional department managers (supervisors)” and etc are the top earners, with over 150,000 yuan/year high-level income on average.

The jobs with over 200,000 yuan/year high-level income include “computer hardware engineers” (220,000 yuan/year), “computer software engineers” (230,000 yuan/year) and “information system operation and maintenance engineer” (200,000 yuan/year).

“Security investment professionals”, “note tellers”, “financial managers”, “foreign business professionals in banks”, “bond traders”, “insurance agents”, “insurance loss adjusters” and “lawyers” are also of high-level income of over 200,000 yuan/year.

The income benchmark for new doctoral graduates is two times higher than that of new senior high school graduates. The gap is expected to be wider after 11 years’ working.
