The luxury “Zhongshan 6” carbon fiber high-speed passenger ship will be put into operation late this month on the Zhongshan to Hong Kong shipping route, according to Zhongshan-Hong Kong Passenger Shipping Co-op Co Ltd.

The 42.8m multiply by 10.8m “Zhongshan 6”, with a gross horsepower of 4,320 kilowatts, contains a total 300 luxurious and comfortable passenger seats.

The high-speed passenger ship is built with the world’s leading new-type environment friendly, low-carbon economic and high-tech carbon fiber composite, which can further improve safety performance of the ship.

Once “Zhongshan 6” is put into use, the travelling time from Zhongshan Port to Hong Kong downtown will be shortened to 75mins, and from Zhongshan Port to Zhongshan International Airport will be shortened to 55mins.
