Temperature in Zhongshan dropped significantly in the past few days, with the lowest around 16℃.

On the afternoon of November 17, staffs of Zimaling Park zoo were preparing equipment for keeping animals out from the cold. 

They especially customized a mattress-like equipment from northeast China and started using ground heater for giraffes. 

Nearly 20 kinds of animals, including giraffes, are enjoying special warm service.

Heating devices have been added to the crocodile and turtle pools, and also the golden python’s nest. In the nests of squirrel monkeys, zebras, kangaroos, etc, warm products are also placed.
