“Gasoline conforming China 6 emissions standard has now come in the market. The petrol marks are replaced, but the prices are remained unchanged,” manager of Dongsheng Gas Station Lu Xipei said.

“China 6” gasoline products are launched following the “China 6” diesel products. Local gas stations are gradually replacing the petrol marks.

The gasoline replacement in Zhongshan is undertaken ahead of national schedule. As of November 28, sixty-nine gas stations subordinated to China Petrochemical Corporation in Zhongshan had completed the replacement.

Reportedly, “China 6” gasoline and diesel generate less pollutants and have positive effects on easing air quality problems comparing with “China 5” ones.
