Uniao Geral das Associacoes dos Moradores de Macau (UGAMM) Zhongshan Office, located at NO.1 Hetang Road, Dabu Village of Sanxiang Town, was inaugurated on November 30.

Vice-chairman of the CPPCC Edmund Ho, who visited Zhongshan on the day for investigation, attended the inaugural ceremony and participated in the symposium on the Greater Bay Area development.

UGAMM, founded in 1983, is a patriotic non-profit social organization and one of the most influential Macao-based social organizations which takes long-term participation in social affairs. The inauguration of Zhongshan Office marks the official and legal operation of the representative office of the Macao non-government organization in Zhongshan.

Reportedly, UGAMM Zhongshan Office is committed to provide Macao residents in Zhongshan with quality services in such areas as business start-up, study, dwelling, work, house purchasing and tourism.

At present, there are approximately 30,000 Macao people choose to live and work in Zhongshan.
