Zhongshan Center for Disease Control and Prevention released “Zhongshan Injury Surveillance Report 2017” on December 3.

According to the report, in Zhongshan, the top three causes of injury were “tumble and fall down”, “animals attack” and “blunt force”, and injury most takes place “at home”, “on the highway or in the street” and “at industry or construction sites”.

Injury death accounts for 4.86% of the city’s total death tolls and ranks 5th among causes of death last year.
