In order to promote development and innovation of new-energy vehicle, Zhongshan recently released the exposure draft of charging pile construction planning for 2019, mentioning to build another 211 charging piles, Zhongshan Development and Reform Bureau says.

The 211 additional piles mainly distribute in public areas such as shopping malls and markets, residential communities, government departments, hotels and etc. Torch Zone has the most 24 piles, followed by Shiqi District (22) and East District (18).

Reportedly, all charging facilities constructed and put into use are eligible for subsidies from government.
