Major members of Federation of Hong Kong Zhongshan Community (FOHKZSC) including the Chairman of the 12th board of directors Yeung Hoi-shan paid a visit to Zhongshan days before for a symposium on joint development of two cities.

Zhongshan Municipal Party Secretary Chen Xudong met with Yang Kaishan and his crew after the symposium. Zhongshan city leaders Liang Lixian, Feng Yurong and Guo Huibing attended the symposium.

Reportedly, FOHKZSC is an institution formed by 43 Zhongshan associations based in Hong Kong. It was founded as "Hong Kong Zhongshan Associations Union" in 1996 in Hong Kong, and was changed to current name in 2015.
