The 4th Advanced Equipment Manufacturing Investment and Trade Symposium - West of the Pearl River (AEMITS) is held from December 17 to 19 in Foshan City. A total of 35 Zhongshan companies with 91 products were invited to the event to demonstrate the achievements Zhongshan makes in high-end equipment manufacturing, new generation of information technology and health medicine industries.

Since 2014, according to Zhongshan Economic and Information Technology Bureau, Zhongshan had introduced 217 hundred-million-yuan equipment manufacturing projects. This year, Zhongshan signs 41 hundred-million-yuan projects, with a total investment of 39.46 billion yuan.

During 2015 to 2017, Zhongshan municipal government provided a 370 million yuan of supporting fund to over 1,500 equipment manufacturing projects.
