In the process of promoting family doctor-type service, Torch Development Zone Community Medical Center pays prior attention to such population groups as senior citizens, chronic disease patients, children aged between 0-6, pregnant and lying-in women and disabled persons. By the end of November this year, a total of 64,535 residents in Torch Zone have signed up for family doctor-type service, over 60% of which are focused population.

At present, Torch Zone had set up 22 family doctor-type service teams, which provide contracted families with outpatient service, door-to-door medical service, appointment and transfer treatment, and “telephone counseling” service. Patients with common diseases such as cold and fever can phone family doctor for suggestions on drug use and examination.
