The data estimates that travel peak of New Year's holiday will start on December 28. Eastern cities such as Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou, Shenzhen, Hangzhou and Suzhou are the most popular destinations. Most people will choose excursion or mid-distance trip (within 700km) during the minor vacation. Zhongshan people specifically favor Beijing, Shanghai, Hangzhou, Chengdu and Chongqing.

Passenger flow peaks of domestic and foreign air service will appear respectively on December 28 and on December 24 "the Christmas Eve".
