China Post issued a set of commemorative stamps to mark the 40th Anniversary of China's Reform and Opening-up on December 18. The set consists of two stamps and a stamp sheetlet, with a total face value of 8.40 yuan.
The stamps are sold simultaneously in many postal branches such as East District Stamps Flagship Store and Xiaolan Xinyong Business Hall.
The two stamps are respectively named "Hold the Banner High" and "The Great Practice" and featured elements like the "Land Reclamation Cattle" sculpture in Shenzhen and the train "Fuxing". The stamp sheetlet is named "Building Dreams in New Era", with design elements of ornamental pillars, Tian'anmen Square, peace dove and Chinese people who are celebrating.
Zhongshan Post also plans to issue a set of 6 postcards with the theme "Your Memories" on December 22 to celebrate the 40th anniversary of China's reform and opening-up.
