On the morning of December 25, a large charitable activity called “Help you go home · Wait for you to return” of 2018 for the care of migrant workers kicked off in Zhongshan. The campaign was divided into three themes, which was described as “Millions of Red Packet to Help Thousands of Migrant Workers to Return Home”, “Charity Campaign Conducted by Hundreds of Private Enterprises in Zhongshan” and “Philanthropic Zhongshan · Love for Zhaotong”. The efforts will be combined together to help more than 10,000 migrant workers to get free or subsidized tickets.

It is said that the themed activity of “Millions of Red Packet to Help Thousands of Migrant Workers to Return Home” will be mainly launched online. By means of “grabbing red packets”, over 10 thousand of migrant workers across the city will obtain purchasing subsidies. As for the charity campaigns conducted by private enterprises, the  charity groups will visit private enterprises across towns and districts in the city and buy tickets for those excellent employees or employees with financial difficulties. The themed activity of “Philanthropic Zhongshan · Love for Zhaotong” will integrate the campaign with Zhongshan’s targeted poverty alleviation task. Certain disadvantaged students coming from Zhaotong, Yunnan Province will get charity tickets to have a reunion during Spring Festival.
