The member signing and inaugural ceremony of the first regional trauma treatment center in Zhongshan - China Trauma Treatment Alliance (CTTA) Zhongshan Hospital of TCM Trauma Center - was conducted on December 29, 2018.

According to Li Leyu, vice president of Zhongshan Hospital of TCM, the hospital founded the trauma treatment team last year by integrating emergency department, intensive care unit, surgery department, department of orthopedic and anesthesia department.

Under the instruction of CTTA, the hospital opened up emergency green channels and formulated and optimized first aid procedure for severe trauma patients over the past year, which realized seamless connection of pre-hospital care, transfer and in-hospital treatment, provided patients wiht the fastest and best rescue, and sharply reduced disability rate and death rate.

In future, Zhongshan Hospital of TCM will endeavor to build first-rate trauma center for benefiting more patients with severe trauma by speeding up talent training, technical improvement and scientific research construction.
