The new national railway operating plan was implemented on Jan 5. At the same time, the Zhongshan Intercity Railway Station added another 11 trains per day. This increased the daily peak number to 58.

At its peak operational capacity, Zhongshan Station is capable of transferring up to 10,000 passengers per day. This raises capacity by almost 2,000 more than the previous limit.

This means that Zhongshan Railway Police will be able to reinforce local police strength and take effective measures to cope with control pressure caused by increased passenger flow.
