In an effort to improve government's honest governance ability, establish an open, fair, creditable and upright government image, and make strong use of demonstration and leading effect of the government, Zhongshan recently introduced a guidance document for credit system construction of government affairs.

According to the document, Zhongshan will intensify government credit construction in nine major areas, including policy implementation, government procurement, government-social capital cooperation, tendering and bidding, public resource transaction, investment attraction, local government debt, government department fulfilling legal obligation, and credit system construction at basic level.

It is the first time Zhongshan introduced guidance document for credit construction of government affairs.

Zhongshan Social Credit System Construction Leading Group Office also released a policy interpretation recently to further explain and clarify the key points of the guidance document.
