From February 4 to February 10 this year, Zhongshan has supplied 385 batches of edible agricultural products to Hong Kong and Macao. The total value of these products is approximate $8.7 million, according to Zhongshan Customs. All told 545 tons of vegetables, 1,317 tons of aquatic animals and products, 70 live pigs, and 8,000 chilled birds, all with a 100% quality pass rate were included.

To ensure safe, sufficient, and rapid supply for Hong Kong and Macao during the Spring Festival holiday, Zhongshan Customs had already made efforts to streamline its procedures in food and farm produce inspection, quarantine, and supervision. It also set up green channels for 24-hour service to ensure a smooth and orderly customs clearance.
