A new dining hall serving the elderly living in the Liuhe Community in Torch Development Zone opened on February 13. Many of the residents gave the dining hall a try and enjoyed a delicious meal on the opening day. 

Huang Jialing, a social worker from the Yangfan Social Work Service Center, which oversees the new dining hall, said, "Nearly 70 people dined in the hall today, and 90% of them enjoyed a free meal."

With this new facility, there are now 10 elderly dining halls within Torch Development Zone. All of these halls have resumed normal operations after the end of the Spring Festival. Another elderly dining hall in Bokai Community will be open to elders in the near future.
