The 3rd session of the 12th Zhongshan Municipal Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC) opened on February 20. A "CPPCC Members' Channel" was established on Wednesday to allow local political advisers to make statements.

Six CPPCC members from different sectors took this initial opportunity to utilize this special channel by providing suggestions on city development.

Li Liang, Director of the Zhongshan Meteorological Bureau, was the first to appear. He delivered a speech on "Building the Growth Channel from Primary to Secondary School for Football Talents." He proposed that the city improve its top-level design, football field construction and better cultivate its football talent. Li went on to say that improvements should be made in the areas of establishing a football talent training system with local characteristics and reinforcing the construction of teams of teachers.

The "CPPCC Members' Channel" is also a forum for gathering public opinions.

Ning Shujuan, Director of the Bangjie Law Firm, and Du Jifang, President of the Hongbao Technology Ltd, both stated their support for the development of private enterprises. Du Jifang suggested that the municipal government could further strengthen policy support to promote self-innovation, modernize talent selection, and improve employment and cultivation mechanisms. Du's speech also encouraged local enterprises to increase their R&D input, reinforce IP protection, and expand financing channels.

The second "CPPCC Members' Channel" is held Friday afternoon.
