The Sanxiang Agile Studio of UMP Healthcare Holdings Limited was founded on the morning of February 21. The studio is Zhongshan's first public/private partnership institution between a community-based health service center and the UMP Group.

Two doctors, sent by UMP, provided medical services for the Sanxiang Agile Studio on that day. They will offer similar services at the studio on a regular basis in the future.

"Not only can UMP members enjoy equivalent medical services and treatments as they have in Hong Kong, but Sanxiang residents can also experience Hong Kong-style family doctor services here at the studio," said Yang Handong, Vice Director of the Zhongshan Health Bureau.

At present, more than 50,000 Hong Kong and Macao compatriots live in Sanxiang Town.

UMP was founded in 1990 by a group of Hong-Kongese multidisciplinary physicians and healthcare professionals. UMP has grown to over 600 medical centers and online clinics located throughout Hong Kong, Macao, Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou, Shenzhen, and Zhuhai.
