The 3rd session of the 12th Zhongshan Municipal Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC) came to an end on February 22 at the City Convention Center.

The list of the newly-elected Vice Chairman and Standing Committee members of the 12th Zhongshan CPPCC Committee were announced. Lin Shaoming was elected Vice Chairman, while Peng Xingzong and Li Youquan were elected Standing Committee Members.

As of 9 a.m. Friday morning, a total of 220 recommendations and suggestions were submitted for meeting review.

Qiu Shuhong, Chairman of the Zhongshan CPPCC, delivered a speech at the closing ceremony. He also addressed Zhongshan CPPCC's 2019 work accomplishments.
