Zhongshan selected and sent another 5 medical specialists to aid Tibet this year, according to the Zhongshan Health Bureau. The medical team set out last week on their six-month journey to aid the citizens of Tibet.

The Zhongshan Health Bureau has been partnered with Gongbo'gyamda County, Tibet on a medical aid project since 2016. So far, four groups of 13 medical experts have been sent from Zhongshan to Tibet with the goal of improving the capacity of local clinics.
