Cashing in on the fine weather, a group of painters from the Zhongshan Calligraphy and Art Association drew the walls of some old houses in the Shengshi Village, Shaxi Town on Sunday afternoon, in an effort to advance the building of the cultural tourism village.

There are quite a few old buildings in Shengshi Village, which have a unique folk culture. With that in mind, the township government of Shaxi proposed to turn the village into a cultural tourist attraction.
