Nearly 200 people from Zhongshan attended the commemorative ceremony of the 94th anniversary of Sun Yat-sen's death at the Museum of Dr Sun Yat-sen on March 12. People from all walks of life came to pay tribute to the great revolutionary pioneer's lofty spirits and immortal deeds.

The attendees stood in reverence in front of Sun's portrait and showed their respects. Afterwards, floral baskets from the Municipal Committee of the Communist Party of China, the Zhongshan People's Congress, the Municipal Government, the Municipal Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference, 40 other units and organizations, along with representatives of Sun Yat-sen's family, were presented to the portrait.

After the ceremony honoring Sun, city leaders and guests participated in the opening ceremony of the Soong Ching Ling Photos and Cultural Relics Exhibition. This event was planned and hosted by the Museum of Dr Sun Yat-sen and the Soong Ching Ling Memorial Residence of Shanghai.

The exhibition is showcasing over 140 cultural relics, documents, and photos. It will last until April 27.

In the coming days, the Museum of Dr Sun Yat-sen will also carry out a series of commemorative activities such as a farming life experience, cultural lectures, and others.
