The VX Zhongshan Logistics Park, which cost 480 million yuan, is now 80% completed. It is expected to be fully finished and operational by the middle of this year. 

"There will be 10 loading and unloading berths, 470 car parking spaces and 157 motorcycle parking spaces located within the park," said Chen Shifu, engineer of the project. 

The VX Zhongshan Logistics Park is located in the Maxin Industrial Zone, Huangpu Town. It covers an area of 80,000 square meters. The park is positioned as the internet-based cloud service industry base, the e-commerce transaction base, and the supply chain distribution center that serves the Pearl River Delta.

It is worth mentioning that the VX Zhongshan Logistics Park has adopted a new type of assembly and construction method. "Compared with traditional construction practices, the new method is more environment-friendly, more conducive to quality-assurance, and more efficient," Chen Shifu said. 

At present, the VX Zhongshan Logistics Park has attracted enterprises from Japan, the Netherlands, and Switzerland to visit and sign-on. Relying on logistical advantages provided by Huangpu Port, Nansha Port Railway, Huangpu Expressway, and other transportation projects, the VX Zhongshan Logistics Park will help develop Huangpu town into a logistics distribution center which will attract even more new enterprises.
