The Zhongshan Human Resources and Social Security Bureau recently released its monthly employment report for March. According to the report, Zhongshan added about 12,300 new employees in March. This figure represents a decrease of 6.23% from the month earlier.

Additionally, about 3,330 people were re-employed, and 307 people, who previously had employment difficulties, found jobs last March.

Employment demands on the primary industry and the manufacturing sector both rose. Specifically, the primary industry demand was 2,034 employees, while the manufacturing sector need was 62,594 workers. Employment demands on other industries and sectors declined.

Technicians continue to be urgently needed. A report showed that the demand for technicians was 7,734 in March, but the supply was just 1,555. The gap reached 6,179.

It is worth noting that the number of fresh college graduate job seekers has also been increasing. In March, this figure climbed 78% to 3,070 from February, according to ZSHRSSB's report.
