The Zhongshan Industry and Information Technology Bureau is asking for opinions for the newly-released "Zhongshan Industrial Design Development Action Plan (2019-2021)". 

According to the document, Zhongshan will improve the development level and services of industrial design sector in three years' time.

By the end of 2021, Zhongshan will hopefully build 2 national industrial design centers, 18 provincial industrial design centers, and 2 influential industrial design bases (characteristic towns).

The city will explore to build an industrial design institute and an online information sharing, exhibition and trade platform.

Zhongshan will also strive to introduce and cultivate a number of industrial designers and backbone companies, as well as to foster some industrial design brands, according to the action plan.
