Li Minglang, a teacher in Songyuan High School, was invited by UNESCO to attend the UNESCO Creative Cities Design Forum - the 11th Biennale Internationale Design Saint-étienne in France. He returned to Zhongshan recently and shared his gains during his trip to France.
It is learned that this expo, as one of the important design exhibitions in the world, enjoys equal popularity with the National Design Triennial, Milan Design Week and London Design Festival.
Li Minglang has been working as an art teacher in Songyuan High School since graduation. He participated in postgraduate study in the Academy of Art & Design, Tsinghua University during 2013-2015 and learned from Yu Runde, President of the Chinese and Western Art Research Institute. He insists on creation after work.
In February of this year, Li Minglang received the work collection invitation from the China-France Cultural Exchange Center. He sent the works created in recent years, with the theme of "Life will emerge, die and struggle", and three of them were selected.
Li Minglang said his works would continue to focus on "human" and "life".
