The "Pengpeng Mediation Studio" of the Western District People's Mediation Committee was inaugurated on April 23. It is known to be another people's mediation studio in West District named after a person since the establishment of "Hu Jianyi Mediation Studio".

Xu Shaopeng, the full name of "Pengpeng", is the current Party secretary and neighborhood committee director of Caihong Community in West District, Guangdong people's supervisor, and one of the 14th Party representatives of Zhongshan.

Xu Shaopeng has been engaged in community-based mediation for nearly 20 years. He has participated in and handled 60 petition cases, as well as investigated 196 disputes, of which 121 have been successfully mediated.

As one of the pure urban communities in West District, Caihong Community encounters many problems and disputes in such areas as newly-built commercial properties, residential property management, integration of old and new Zhongshan people, and etc. In that case, district-level mediation studios are set up to provide free public legal services such as legal advice, aid and guidance, and dispute mediation to residents nearby.
