'One Window for All' for Zhongshan people's livelihood-related matters

This year, "Optimizing Governmental Affairs Service" was selected as one of the Top 10 Livelihood Projects of Zhongshan again and the Municipal Government's work report also proposed the idea of taking big steps in improving the business environment.

The head of the Zhongshan Administration of Government Affairs Service Data visited zsnews.cn on April 26 and introduced the reform of the government affairs service of the city and the future work plan.

According to Chen Fuying, Secretary of the Party Committee of the Zhongshan Administration of Government Affairs Service, 770,000 issues were handled by the Zhongshan Administrative Service Center all year round in 2018, with a flow of 1.1 million people and a public satisfaction rate of 99.95%; the Zhongshan Public Resources Trading Center concluded 1,631 transactions with the total value of 70.303 billion yuan, up 36.74% on a year-on-year basis.

Lai Wensheng, Deputy Director General of the Zhongshan Administration of Government Affairs Service, said that the "Comprehensive Window" service mode and the "One Window for All" for people's livelihood-related matters would be implemented in Zhongshan this year, with home express services of 80,000 licenses provided for applicants free of charge.

Zhongshan Administration of Government Affairs Service plans to divide the Zhongshan Administrative Service Center into several comprehensive windows respectively for investment projects, people's livelihood matters, police-related services, tax services, start-up enterprises, business licenses, real estate transactions, and more. It will also allocate current 1,055 service items of the Zhongshan Administrative Service Center to relevant windows according to item types in order to implement "One Window for All". The next step, the Zhongshan Administration of Government Affairs Service will submit the proposal to the Zhongshan Municipal Government for approval and announcement.

The reform of "One Window for All" is expected to reduce the waiting time for the masses to handle affairs by at least 50% and improve the experience.
