The launching ceremony of the Zhongshan 2019 College Student Conscription was held at Zhongshan Polytechnic on the afternoon of April 28. Kong Deyu, a member of the Standing Committee of the Zhongshan Municipal Party Committee and the Commander of the Zhongshan Military Subarea, and Zheng Zehui, Deputy Mayor, attended the ceremony and delivered mobilization speeches.

On that day, thousands of college students attended the mobilization meeting, many of whom showed strong enthusiasm in joining the army.

At the moment, on-line application was underway and youths with the appropriate age could log into the official website of national conscription to submit their applications.

This year, it is said that the city will continue to give more preferential treatments for conscription, implement relevant policies, and address actual challenges faced by young recruits and their families. These efforts are made to motivate young recruits to join and serve the army and accomplish great feats in the army.
