"Zhongshan Fabu" ("Fabu" means "release" in Chinese) is a new media platform through which the Zhongshan Municipal Party Committee and the Municipal Government publish authoritative information. It is quickly becoming an all-media internet platform.

The Zhongshan Fabu Media Convergence Center was unveiled on April 28. It is said to be China's first government media convergence center in a prefecture-level city and a major measure taken by Zhongshan to promote its development of media convergence in both depth and breadth.

Upon establishment, the Zhongshan Fabu Media Convergence Center is expected to establish a communication platform of "one-stop information acquisition, diversified information generation, and multi-channel communication" by integrating resources and platforms to enhance its communication, guidance, influence and credibility.

Ever since "Zhongshan Fabu" launched its public account for government administration on WeChat five years ago, it has drawn 1.5 million fans and become influential among various platforms of prefecture-level cities.

On the same day, "Zhongshan Fabu" officially launched its TikTok account, indicating the initial construction of new on-line communication platform through WeChat, Microblog, Applet, Short Video and others.
