A range of activities commemorating the 100th Anniversary of the May 4th Movement were organized on the afternoon of May 5 in Minzhong Town, Zhongshan City. Chen Wenfeng, Vice Secretary of Zhongshan Municipal Party Committee, delivered his speech at the event.

The event kicked off with a feature film about the 100th Anniversary of the May 4th Movement. A dance with the theme "Youth Shock Brigade" demonstrated the soldiers' hard work and conquering spirit 64 years ago.

The documentary, Everlasting Youth, was also played, after which, outstanding youth representatives presented flowers to four veterans of the "Youth Shock Brigade".

What followed was an oath-taking ceremony for new members admitted into the Communist Youth League. A total of 185 new members made solemn declarations under the League Flag.

That day also witnessed the launching of the activity "For the Goods of People" of the Youth Model Unit Award. A series of activities of "Youths Helping Enterprises" with "Tax and Administrative Fee Reduction" were launched as well.

That same day, the "Walking for the Youths" and "Clean River" Kayak Cruise Event were held in the "Four Mosts" (most active, most lively, most eager to learn, and most innovative) Garden in Minzhong Town.
