"Zhongshan-Silicon Valley Direct Train - Startup Acceleration Program" is co-organized by Zhongshan Municipal Bureau of Science and Technology, GungHo Space (Zhongshan) and University of California, Berkeley. The first acceleration training session was duly started and ended in January 2019. The second session has begun to accept applications from companies.

Based on cooperation between Zhongshan and San Francisco, the program welcomes youth and high-tech startup projects in Zhongshan and the rest of Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area. Those that pass the evaluation will be incorporated in a 3-month training session organized by SkyDeck.

This acceleration training session will be offered at SkyDeck, an official establishment of University of California, Berkeley in the US. The session falls into business models, prototype design, financing planning, market strategies, investor relation building, and team culture among others.

Ye Xinghua, CEO of GungHo Technology (HK) Limited, one of the co-organizers of the program, said "after the training, the startup projects will settle in the GungHo Space as the first choice, for more comprehensive and sustainable startup services, and more chances to access Zhongshan's startup supporting funds."
