The National Vocational Education Week falls on the second week of May every year. A series of vocational education activities were initiated in Zhongshan last week, according to the Zhongshan Education and Sports Bureau. 

As one of the VEW activities, the first Teaching Skills Competition for Secondary Vocational School Teachers held its final at Zhongshan Polytechnic on May 9. Participating teachers competed in 18 classroom teaching skills and 30 instructional design skills.

The prize-wining students, teachers and excellent organizations of the 20th Secondary Vocational School Students Skills Competition were awarded on the same day.
