The list of the first batch of 2019 Science and Technology (S&T) Small- and Medium-Sized Enterprises (SMEs) in Guangdong Province was published a few days ago. A total of 652 S&T SMEs based in Zhongshan are on the list, including Zhongshan Honeson Pharmaceutical Co Ltd and TCB Bearing Manufacturing Co Ltd.

The selected enterprises cover a wide range of sectors such as smart devices, unmanned aerial vehicles (UAV), biomedicine and lighting.

One of the highlights is new-type research institutions, such as Guangdong Hantang Fast Manufacturing Application Technology Research Institute Co Ltd and Guangdong Yixian High-Tech Business Incubator Co Ltd, are also included in the list.
