May 12 this year was the 12th National Disaster Prevention and Mitigation Day. In an effort to raise people's disaster prevention and reduction awareness and improve their self-rescue ability in the fire, Zhongshan Fire Fighting Force organized a public-benefit fire safety education activity at its special service unit on the same day.

Over 100 kids and their parents participated in the activity. Guided by the fire fighters, they observed varied firefighting trucks and equipment, experienced to put out fires with extinguishers, watched a skills show provided by fire fighters, and learned other fire safety knowledge.

During the activity, the fire fighters also shared their rescue stories with the children.
