Based on data released by amap.com on May 13, the all-day traffic performance index of the main urban area in Zhongshan was 1.51 in April, an increase of 2.7% from March and an indication that traffic flow is "basically smooth".

By the end of April, the number of vehicles in Zhongshan was up to 1.4429 million. There were 1.15 million vehicles running in the main urban area each day, a month-on-month growth of 2.85%.

The all-day average vehicle speed was 36.36 km/h in the main area, a decrease of 1.44% from March. There had been mild traffic jams in the morning and evening during rush hours on working days, and heavier traffic in urban streets. (from Guangzhou Daily)
