After the morning tea, Mr Chu likes to read newspaper at the Zhongshan Office of the Uniao Geral das Associacoes dos Moradores de Macau (hereafter referred to as the UGAMM Zhongshan Office) located at the North Gate of Dong'an Jinyu Garden in Sanxiang Town. He later swims in Macao, and finally returns to Sanxiang Town for dinner. Mr Chu, 64, has lived in Sanxiang Town and enjoyed in such a cross-border life for almost four years.

Over 30,000 Macao citizens presently in Sanxiang Town, and this figure is still increasing. Most of them live a cross-border life like Mr Chu. 

In order to better serve residents from Macao, the UGAMM Zhongshan Office was set up last November in Sanxiang Town as the first official branch of the Macao non-governmental organization in Zhongshan.

For the past six months, the UGAMM Zhongshan Office handled over 400 cases related to residence consulting or other services. It promotes relationship between Zhongshan and Macao residents and solve the daily problems of some Macao residents.
