Zhongshan Conscription Office's publicity group visited Zhongshan Xiaolan Senior High School on May 23 to mobilize outstanding age-appropriate youth to join the construction of national defense. The school organized about 1,100 students in their third year of senior high school to attend the lecture.

Four excellent retired soldiers of the publicity group gave their speeches on the stage and shared their experience of growth and exercise in the military camp with the students.

Then, the group leader gave a detailed introduction to the benefits of being a soldier, including preferential policies and post-retirement employment, university enrollment guarantee measures, and conscription information, and encouraged the students to join the army and serve the country.

It is reported that the priority will be given to high-educated youth and high school graduates this year. The age range for conscripted people is generally 17-22 years old.
