"Singing over the Lingdingyang Ocean: Literary and Artistic Creation for the Construction of the Shenzhen-Zhongshan Bridge" took place on May 24. More than 50 literators and artists from Shenzhen and Zhongshan went by ship to experience the work and life of the Shenzhen-Zhongshan Bridge builders after a symposium in the office building of the CPPCC Zhongshan Committee.

Qiu Shuhong, Vice Chairman of Guangdong Writers Association and Chairman of the CPPCC Zhongshan Committee, participated in the activity and presented the economic and social state of Zhongshan at the symposium to these literators and artists from Shenzhen .

Li Ruiqi, Secretary of the Party Group of Shenzhen Federation of Literary and Art Circles, indicated that this activity could enhance friendship among literators and artists and equally promote the construction of both cities.

It was the first time Wen Kangning, Vice Chairman of Guangdong and Hong Kong Wen Clan Association, visited the construction site of Shenzhen-Zhongshan Bridge. He said he was very lucky to be there, and "the sight stirred up my feelings and reminded me of the scene of my progenitor Wen Tianxiang passing the Lingdingyang Ocean."
