The "Zhongshan Special Kindergarten" was unveiled at Zhongshan Rehabilitation School for Disabled Children on 30 May morning.

It is reported that Zhongshan Rehabilitation School for Disabled Children, founded in 2016, is a rehabilitation institution for the disabled children aged 0-6. It integrates rehabilitation, upbringing and maintenance functions as a whole.

The school presently accommodates 136 children with autism, cerebral palsy, hearing impairment and intellectual disability. They study, play and receive rehabilitation treatments in the School.

According to Zhongshan Disabled Persons Federation (ZDPF), the school also takes the responsibility for formulating the rehabilitation work plan for the disabled children aged 0-6 in Zhongshan, organizing and implementing the rehabilitation plan for the disabled children aged 0-6 in the school, and providing technical guidance for the disabled children's rehabilitation.

After the unveiling ceremony, the school also organized an event under the theme "Colorful Childhood, Happy Growth" to celebrate Children's Day. About 100 teachers and students presented 12 performances including poetry recitation, dance, percussion music, fashion show, etc.
