The launch ceremony for collectivized school-running of Zhongshan was held in Tiecheng Middle School, West District on May 31. The West District Office signed the "Agreement on the Comprehensive Educational Reform through Cooperation" and the "Agreement on the Joint Running of Schools between Zhongshan No. 1 Middle School and West District Office" respectively with the Zhongshan Education and Sports Bureau (ZSESB) and Zhongshan No. 1 Middle School. West District has become the first joint pilot zone of comprehensive educational reforms in Zhongshan, and Tiecheng Middle School, under the Zhongshan No. 1 Middle School Education Group, has become the first experimental school of collectivized school-running reforms across the city.

Authorized by ZSESB, Zhongshan No. 1 Middle School will take over Tiecheng Middle School in an all-round way within the term of agreement, and runs the pilot on collectivized school-running. Zhongshan No. 1 Middle School will exert its advantages in education, management, scientific research, culture and other resources and develop under the shared standards with Tiecheng Middle School with respect to planning, management, recruitment, teaching and research, evaluation and reward for the purpose of rapidly improving the teaching level and school-running standards of Tiecheng Middle School, in an effort to succeed in collectivized school-running pilot.
