As of midnight July 10, China will implement a new train route map cum the summer route map. This adjustment will increase the number of daily trains in and out of Zhongshan Station to 63 in total.

"Among the new lines, G68 will be extended from Guangzhou South Railway Station to Zhuhai Station via Zhongshan Station," said the person in charge of Zhongshan Station. This means that Zhongshan Station will have a high-speed train connecting to Beijing every day, 

The schedule indicates that G68 departs from Zhuhai Station at 10:11 am and arrives at Beijing West Railway Station at 9:10 pm every day. The whole journey lasts for 10 hours and 59 minutes, passing through Zhongshan, Guangzhou South, Shaoguan, Changsha South, Wuhan, Zhengzhou, Shijiazhuang, and other stations.

Following three adjustments in July 2018 as well as in January and April 2019, the number of trains in Zhongshan Station has been increasing from more than 30 in the very beginning to over 60. 

Besides, daily trains at Zhongshan North Station will increase to 58 since July 10.
