According to the newly-released employment service statistics, about 25,000 new jobs had been created in all towns and districts in Zhongshan by late May. About 4,500 people were re-employed, and about 400 who had difficulty in finding jobs were employed.

The overall demand and supply of the human resource market of Zhongshan in May suggests that 46,740 people were needed and 21,682 people were seeking jobs, with a decrease of 9.5% and 8.9% respectively. The people needed/job seekers ratio was 2.16, making a general downward momentum of supply and demand.

Besides, according to the key monitoring of unemployment trends among 300 companies in Zhongshan, in-service employees totaled 168,000, with a month-on-month decrease of 0.04%.

There was a relatively large demand for technicians in the human resource market in May, especially for junior and intermediate technicians.
