The Bo'ai Road-Cuijing Avenue Interchange is currently 90% completed, and it is expected to open to traffic in July. So far, the steel box girder installation for the southern part of the main flyover has been completed. The same engineering for the northern half is scheduled to start this week. 

The construction of the Bo'ai-Cuijing Interchange started in May 2017. The project mainly includes an over-crossing bridge built at the intersection of Bo'ai Road and Cuijing Avenue, which enables east-west vehicles to quickly pass through the crossing. The project also includes an underground pedestrian crossing.

Frequent rain in recent days has to some extent slowed the project. Zhongshan Housing and Urban-rural Development Bureau will urge the construction unit to speed up the construction when the weather gets better.
