The 2019 Senior High School Entrance Examination (SHSEE) of Zhongshan kicked off on June 20 morning. Candidates entered the examination rooms in an orderly manner at around 8:30 am.

This year, a total of 34,265 candidates in Zhongshan took the Examination. Students taking the Geography and Biology Academic Proficiency Examinations amounted to 38,444 and 38,507 respectively.

37 examination sites were used for this exam, with 1,166 rooms for the academic proficiency test. 1,305 rooms were prepared for the Geography and Biology Academic Proficiency Examinations for second-grade students.

Besides, 12 spare rooms were prepared for special candidates with injuries or illnesses this year. (from Guangzhou Daily).
